Overview
SannyasIQ ("we", "us") provides retirement planning software. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your financial plan data for advertising.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect a username and a password. Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing and are never transmitted or logged in clear text.
Plan data
We store the retirement planning details you enter: personal attributes used for life expectancy estimation, account balances, debts, assets, expense assumptions, and generated projections. This data is stored encrypted at rest.
Usage data
We collect basic product analytics such as page views, feature usage, and error reports to improve the service. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individual users outside of troubleshooting flows you explicitly opt into.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain, and improve SannyasIQ.
- To compute and display your retirement projections.
- To communicate with you about your account or service updates.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the product (such as our hosting and error-monitoring providers), under contractual obligations that limit how they may use it. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Your rights
- Access & export. You can export a machine-readable copy of your plans at any time.
- Deletion. You can delete individual plans or your entire account. Deleted data is purged from production systems within 30 days.
- Correction. You can edit any information you've entered directly in the app.
Security
We use HTTPS for all connections, encrypt data at rest, and follow reasonable security practices to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure — if you suspect a breach of your account, contact us immediately.
Children
SannyasIQ is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in-product or by email before the changes take effect.
